RIM questions

Hey, Ive been looking for a winter rim setup for my 428xi. I currently have 225/35/20, 255/30/20. I found a local set that came off a 2013 M6 that's a square setup and is 265/35/20. However I don't know much about tire and rims sizes, would this set even work without issues?

265 is considered too big for Winter. Besides, I doubt 265/35/20 would even fit on a F3x front.

For Winter, smaller is better.

255 at the largest....and the smaller the better. The 225 above is a great example.

Yes, but I thought going from 20s to 18s was too drastic and requires suspension and realignment no?
