How to fix front head light turn signal resistor?
hi, yesterday I was trying to put on my Predator Ice but I accidentally took off the wrong thing. do you guys know where the resistors are? The front one dont blink at all. No light. The sidemarker works but it blinks really fast same with the rear tail light.
Here is a pic of what i did yesterday, do you guys know where the resistor is? |

Installing ICE has no connection with your front turn signals. I'm not sure what "wrong thing" you're talking about. Have you tried re-installing the oem angels to see if your blinkers work or check the bulb itself? Looking at your ICE install, why is it not mounted flush-in. Looks like it's sticking out too far. Don't forget you have to remove the metal piece with glass lens. The black plastic thingy you'll reuse to mount the ICE.

You removed the silver looking square thing in the pic? Not sure what that is for. As long as it's not damaged during the process it should work fine. I would remove it again and make sure nothing is accidentally disconnected or loose.

but try putting in OEM angel eye bulbs in and see what the signals do, that should be the first trouble shooting step

Did you disconnect the battery or at least disconnect the wiring harness? You might have shocked the adaptive module, it's very sensitive and tends to lose its setting easily..... If your adaptive lights are not working, take it to the dealer for reprogram

No i didnt take out the battery. My adaptive headlight and turn signal dont work now. I might take it in to the dealership for them to take a look at it. What can cause my turn signal to not work? Will my warranty be void if i changed my angel eyes?

and, stock "resistors" are no where to be found in a visible area of your vehicle. just put it back to stock and let your dealer worry about it. period, the end

The dealer knows if you been tampering with your car or not. you can't just bring the car in and act like nothing happened. I think they have a warranty seal on one of the screws and they can tell if you tampered with anything in the fender.
I took off the square thing off the adaptive head light because its not working. The connector harness supposedly to connect to the square thing inside got stuck inside. Hard to explain should of taken some pictures. So right now, I cant connect the adaptive headlight square peice to the harness inside the headlight. and I dont know how to fix the left turn signal. I haven't messed with anything else besides the adaptive box. |
