HEEELP HID Fog install...bulbs wont turn on

So I've been struggling to get this kit to work. I bought the xenondepot 3k HID fogs and have spent two weekends trying to get them to work and have triple checked all connections, used 2 different bulbs and 2 sets of wiring but cant get them to turn on or flicker.

Here's a synopsis.:

Wired to battery terminal under hood where there are 2 existing wires w/ red caps (near + battery like post on passenger side). Used the windshield washer ground near drivers side by power steering (brown wires). Wired resistor across the Xenon depot harness which attaches to the OEM BMW bulb harness and lastly wired bulb to the balast/igniter.

I get a bulb out warning on my dash but the bulb never turns on/flickers etc. I have tried 2 bulbs thinking one was bad. I then tried the alternate harness/igniter/balast but that doesnt work either. Steve told me to see if the resistor is heating up or warm and its not the resistor is COLD!! My wiring is correct but I cant figure out WTF is wrong and its killing me. Here are some pics of my wiring, let me know if you guys know whats wrong...

Where was this kit purchased from? I would not recommend the use of resistors as they get over 200F when in use.

Wow, my kit was a whole lot simpler than that. Good luck.

It is fine to use resistors if you place them correctly!!

I am pretty sure the battery connection is correct, you remove this plastic cap which provides 2 + power connections here

The ground however, I am not 100% about. I used a bolt which had a wire already attached to it which is for the window wipers. It also looks to be ground so I simply added to that nut..

I think they all throw a code on early 07's don't they ? Either way, they sold this guy a clusterfuck of wiring. All the HID kits I've seen are plug and play.

As for as I know, 2 kits that are selling from 2 different vendors required more wiring then a plug and play that will work on all 06 and early 07. I have gone through 3 different sets of this what so call error free kits, and all turned out error or didnt even stay on. I am to the point that as long as it work, dont care how many wires. Who doesn't want plug and play, but most doesn't work out
