aftermarket exhaust tips for 428i

Hi, I want to go back to stock exhaust (wife complain about the dinan exhaust noise) but would like to change the oem black exhaust tips with something bigger in diameter. Anyone know what size to go for and where to purchase?

yeah, the dinan droning is quite lame. i'm ready to remove mine as well

I've got the Burnt Titanium on my 335 and they look pretty good. larger diameter than stock and fit just like the stock tips.

It doesn't appear that Burger has them for the 328 or 428.

The tips are too close together to allow a much larger tip than stock.

Did you mean you wanted chrome? These are larger than stock, though not by a lot.

the one you have is the oem black chrome tips that come standard in sports line 3/4 series, and it's the one I already have...also is the same size as the chrome one.

I'm confused too. Are the sport line tips bigger than the M sport tips?

I have an M sport with stock chrome tips. The gloss black tips I bought fit *over* the existing chrome tips because they are larger and don't otherwise fit on the exhaust pipes. I was confused when I got them because I thought they would just replace my tips, but they were too big. If you look at the third picture in the link I posted, you can see the chrome tips inside of these. Not really the look I was going for, but really didn't like the chrome with the CF diffuser. The fact they are larger (and actually rub a little between them), was a bonus.

Afaik, there are no OEM or aftermarket exhaust tips for our lowly cars that are bigger than stock. You would have to get an axle back exhaust that accepts bigger ones or different styles (Active Autowerke's for example).

Oh I see what you did now lol. You got the 335 black tips and fit them in the chrome tips...hahahaha

Im sure there are aftermarket tips...just here to ask if anyone know the diameter/size so I can pair them up
