Is it even possible?

Okay so I just got my hands on a squared set of Style 359 BMW M3 competition fronts which are 19x9 ET31 all around.

Now my question is... will it fit! My car is an xdrive model and I have not lowered it YET. lol

245/35 fronts
275/30 rears

You'll clear the strut, but be way out beyond the fender.

You can fit 9 inch wheels square on this car (with some significant front camber) with a 255 tire (in the front), but that setup is like 18x9 ET 36. The rear is a little more flexible, but 18x9 ET 41 gives some significant poke with a 255 tire. 18x9 ET 31 with a 275 will just look silly.

Finding wheels for this car is very difficult, but these would just not look right.

indeed; I think it's one of the few things I'd change about this car

I'm not so sure about that.
I ran 17x8 ET 40 square with 245-40 tire and that is already super close to the strut.

Yes the offset is more aggressive on this suggested setup but with a 9 inch wheel, there is no way he'll clear the strut.

Maybe an 8.5 wheel will clear the strut but as you said serious camber will be needed to clear the fender.

I'm running an 8.5 square with 255's right now. They fit fine. Just need some camber.

Ask rwalker. He's running 9 square with 255's and he's clearing the strut.

yep: my D-Force LTW5 18x9 with effective et36 (et41 + 5mm spacer) clears the strut, Ramos you saw this setup at the Chuckwalla HPDS

my street setup is a square set of 18x8.5et47 M441s (4 rear wheels from the MSport F30), 10mm spacers up front, and 255/35r18 Michelin Pilot Super Sports

Yep! But you have camber though, right?

yes, but note that camber does not affect clearance to the strut: the wheel moves with the strut when you adjust camber, giving more fender clearance

Basically what you do is add more aggressive offset/spacers to get away from the strut and closer to the fenders; the camber helps deal with fender clearance and allows you to squeeze bigger rubber underneath.
