Dravit is an Individual color. Just not one that needs BMW approval. Check my post further up. It will show you what the Dravit Gray individual color sticker looks like. The only difference is they will be customized with your VIN. At first I thought “who cares” but after finding them for 10 bucks I figured what the heck😀

How is it "individual" if it's a standard color on the G8x?

My understanding is that "individual" refers to the paint process, not necessarily the color itself. If you choose a paint that is not available on your car but is standard on another model, it's still considered an "individual" paint because individual cars have to be pulled from the assembly line and painted in a different area (as the main paint booth can only accommodate so many colors). That's part of the reason why it's such an expensive option.

Don’t ask me. All I know is that Dravit Gray is considered an individual color.

I believe at one point (‘21-‘23 maybe?) it was considered a priority 1 color (individual without the approval process) but it’s just a normal optional color now.

I'd like to get one for my Dravit G82, but, Im still struggling to find someone to do them they way I want them done. Füller Schwarz, means "Black Primer"

Dravit Grey would be "Dravitgrau metallic"

IPP is individual paint process. Verfahren is Procedure. "IPP Verfahren" should be under Dravitgrau.

It's an in "in-between" status called "priority individual." It's technically individual but it doesn't require approval per the regular individual process and they just charge an appropriately higher amount of money based on material cost and easier production requirements.

If I can get the exact dimensions, my buddy can make them correctly, with the x marks and all. I may have one made in a thin black coated metal and laser etched to get the X effect.

Out of curiosity, where is this information coming from? When you go on the configurator, it just says "Dravit Grey Metallic". Nothing about individual, or "priority individual". Does it get painted on the main production line or not?

Comes from people here who are BMW employees. No idea on the specifics of production.
