In case you’re wondering what some of these colors look like on vehicles, here’s a link to the F80/F82 color threads:
https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=953954 Of course the brand new colors aren’t there, but British Racing Green, for example, is. |

I might be down with frozen portimao blue...but it's not my favorite shade of blue.
Still hoping these release a silver option. |

Now I’m 14 months into San Marino Blue, and it still blows me away, and gets compliments left right and centre. Sometimes these loud colours are best left to other people’s instagrams. |

I like the look of the frozen colours, but also like a car to shine...

Since Silverstone or a decent silver isn't available, I might have to go IOM Green over Aragon (if it's available)

I went to the Seattle auto show today which was pretty sh*tty but BMW had a lot of cars on display and it offered some interesting observations. Since this is a color thread thread I’ll start to say that this year it was a Donnington grey X3M that had my eye in terms of colors. Last year it was a Marina Bay blue M5.
Why can’t BMW just make these type of excellent shades of colors standard colors on all Ms? It would save them time, cost and us the frustration of having to deal with the lack of great color shades on some models. The X3 is far from the prettiest shapes/design of BMWs, for me it’s closer to the bottom but since the color plays such an important role it made the car outshine others. Another observation was regarding controversial designs per this forum and the general public. My observation, they aren’t controversial at all. During the hour or so I spent around the BMW area the busiest cars to get access to was: 1. X6 M50i 2. X7 M50i 3. BMW 745e 4. M5 Least busy car, I literally saw no one approaching it. It was the only car no one looked at. Portimao blue G20. I hanged around the X6 and 745e a bit longer to listen to comments. Not one mentioned the grill. And honestly it didn’t look out of place... |

That's not nice at all.
Wonder where they got the shade from?

I think the Ford and Toyota lime greens are too bright. I'm considering Birch Green in the future because to me it's loud and bright but not too bright considering its hue. Usually I get sick of looking at loud colors pretty quickly but not with Birch Green at all.

I’m hoping IOMG will be a launch color so there is a chance I can see it at one of the VIP events or at a car show. I’m curious but I have to see any green color IRL before ordering that’s for sure. One of my E36s was Oxford green and was quite nice but likely darker than IOMG seem to be.

What are the M specific colors for the G series?
We had Austin Yellow and Yas Marina Blue for launch colors and still had Silverstone and Sakhir Orange as more M specific colors. Also running out of F1 tracks to name colors after. |

Yeah, that’s a good example of something I would need to see IRL. I like that it’s not a flashy green but the shade need to be seen properly since from the pictures I’m kind of on the probably not side of the fence.
