xDrive Tire Wear

Since the xDrive Comp is relatively new, any idea on how bad the tire wear is? Though still staggered, should being xDrive help with wear (under normal driving)? Are Michelin's better? Hoping to get 15k a year out of them with (mostly) sensible driving.

Hmm, my X5 Xdrive doesn't seem to cause excessive tire wear. The 4-matic system on my Benz would eat tires. Would like to know as well from the people that have driven their cars over 10k miles.
