Is everyone really just riding without a spare??
As the title says I can't believe this car comes without a spare. Has anyone come up or have a solution here? I searched but the couple threads didn't seem to have solutions or were more ideas that hadn't come to fruition.

you should have a mobility kit in your trunk to repair the tire should you encounter an issue while driving.

I don't remember the last time i had a car with a spare tire. Didn't they stop that back in like 2016?
Mostly all new cars come with a fix a tire kit. I already put a tire plug kit/air compressor in each of my cars. |

It's an M car. Spare tire= unnecessary added weight.

Call roadside assistance. Pulling over on the side of the road in SFL to change a tire, not ideal.

I guess just get a tow. Wouldn't really want to drive this car with a donut/temp rim on it anyway. Unless you have an extra rim/tire for these instances.

For me, i'm not a big long distance cruiser anyway. My max cruises in recent years topped 3 hours. So anything after that, i'll make sure i'm well prepared with a full spare, as well as a tire plug kit, compressor and other necessities needed for a long journey. I'm just saying more often than not, you can repair a flat on the side of the road, without needing a spare. Very very rare do you get a tire puncture on the sidewall, unless you completely blow out a tire etc. In which case, you're probably fucked anyway and need a tow. |

Tired patch kit ✅ Portable tire inflator ✅ Roadside assistance ✅ I feel suitably prepared without adding the weight of a full spare (or 2 full spares, because staggered) or the tradeoffs inherent to RFTs.

I got a patch kit and compressor for a summer road trip. Total coincidence, but used it a few weeks ago in my Audi when I got a nail / fast leak in a tire around town. I gave the patch kit a go rather than start gymnastics of changing to a spare. It was super easy. Didn't have to remove the tire. Patch cured quickly and held until I got a replacement tire several days later. I was fortunate that I could do this in a parking lot, but the whole event took up less space than a traditional tire change would have. I'm also NOT a hobby mechanic. I rely on the dealer for most services. Patch won't fix everything, but my recent experience has me feeling better about no spare in my soon-to-be-delivered 22 M3C. Hope this helps others (like me) that will be new to no spare.

I used my portable compressor for the first time last week. Got a low pressure alert, parked it in the parking lot I needed to stop in anyway. Topped up all tires to spec (yup, one was lower… I had ignored the visual signs since the TPMs where alerting). Easy, and the portable compressor is small, only $20-30, and powered by the car's 12V plug.

Bro, M3s haven't had a spare tire equipped with them since the Clinton administration.
