Did an owner's manual not come with your G8X, Molina?

Even so, make sure you download the BMW Driver's Guide, which is like having the owner's manual in your phone.

The EQ is somewhere under Media, but I can't recall off the top of my head...maybe called Sound or something. It's where the Bass/Treble settings are, and then there will be an EQ setting as well in that list.

Who has time to read a manual when you have good people with good information. But since I found it,
It's under car settings - general- sound

I guess the forum is the "owner's manual". OK, good point.

And if you're like me and adjust your sound settings often based on the music or even the song, I'd suggest doing what I did:

I saved the Bass setting in one of the quick-access numbers, and I saved the EQ as well. So now I simply hit 7 to adjust the bass, and hit 8 to adjust the EQ.
