ASTs installed a short while ago, here's the results. Running AST Springs with Macht Schnell Competition Wheel spacers. This confirms the 30mm front/15mm rear drop listed in OP, also no rubbing with spacers.

Very happy with the new ride height, these springs are right on the money.

Looks good.

Now why does the SPY on the first page looks lowered and more flush.

Could be Bc it has Michelin’s?
Same size spacers i believe.

Can be the photo angles. Only difference is Michelins vs Pirelli tires - springs and spacers are same specs

Can I assume it will settle a little bit more? Passenger weight/car weight over time?

I don’t know what AST did with those springs , ride quality is surprisingly good. I call it OEM+, thanks again tom @ eas.

I'd be interested in these but I'm super worried about a bouncy ride and especially tracking the car

I’m with you, but I can’t stand the gap so I’m opting to get these springs until JRZ / Ohlins are released. My wheels should be coming in soon so I don’t want to look like a 4x4 loll

I think I know the answer - but how is the ride and ride modes with the spring-only drop?

Just like OEM, only without the unsightly gap.

Really? That’s great if so. Even on bumps, etc?

Can we get more info on wether the springs are stiffer or softer compared to stock springs?
It's hard to trust people saying: "oh, it rides well" because everyone has a different perception on what drives well.

I agree - no one wants a spring that's so stiff, you can run over a quarter and tell whether it was heads or tails.

Opinion is subjective, some get a "perceived" feel all performance springs are stiff, which must translate to better handling. This isn't true and on a daily driver, it completely ruins the drive. A high quality coilover setup gives the confidence to really push the car and is simply amazing once everything is set up properly, but comes with a much higher price tag. For those that will probably never see regular track use - springs are just fine.

For those looking just to increase aesthetics while keeping the OEM feel on the street, this is where the ASTs really fit the bill - the OEM ride is still retained, albeit a bit more sporty. Other than waiting for more reviews to come out, hopefully someone in your area will have a set soon you can experience in person.

The ASTs are phenomenal. I have been driving on the test set for over 1K miles and it truly is OEM+ -- ride quality is improved, aesthetics are drastically improved and there is zero compromise.

If you want more for the track -- go for it. if you want a great balance from a top-notch manufacturer (they make Moton suspensions) this is the way to go!

I agree, perfect.

Now that some xDrives are starting to get out there, definitely anxious to see if they work on those! My wallet is on fire, needs to liquidate!
