I think the drop according to other sources I've seen is:

Lowers Front: Approx. 32MM
Lowers Rear: Approx. 25MM

Also, these will not work on 2022 xDrive vehicles.

Edit: Looks like I was wrong folks. According to the new adds to this thread, these do fit xDrive vehicles. Sorry for the mistake!

We've installed ASTs for years on previous M3 & M4s (and even i3s), ride quality is similar to stock and not overly stiff other lowering spring brands. More pics to follow after another install tomorrow.

Never said didn't work, just have not verified yet. Waiting on word from AST or as soon as we can get underneath an AWD.

Hey Tom, not sure if you already installed this second set, but it would be awesome if you did some before and after measurements to confirm the drop. Since about half the vendors state the drop to be 32mm f/ 25mm r and the other half state 30mm f / 15mm r and I've seen pictures (the SPY G80 in this post) where the drop looks bang on and others where the rear looks too low.

concur....

Ill say this (nothing about these springs or this thread); the issues getting a proper spring drop on the G8X has been a bit cumbersome vs prior iterations.

We have either had:

settling issues
short front drops
short rear drops
product delays across the board
vague product descriptors

etc...

Im with you on that, so far these are the only springs that look to be perfect.
Im sure other companies have things coming. H&R Has Kit is usually good (at least it was with the F8x) lots of adjustability I’m waiting on that also.

I have the MSS HAS which have front settling issues (nothing terribly dramatic) but something that can not be quantified in pictures is the ride quality. They really ride well- almost OEM like to a point where if I dont drive the car for a few days, I will not even know its lowered.

Right now the car is about:

18mm drop front
25mm drop rear

Not a problem. M3 is here now and measurements have already been taken.

Yea, I guess since I haven't seen a stock rear in person I'm maybe underestimating how much it needs to drop to sit proper.

I only have recent experience with Eibach springs (on my F80 and M2) but based on your and some other folks' feedback, H&R is a tad too bouncy and the MSS rides really well.. I DM'ed one guy on IG that has AST springs and he claims they ride better than OEM... that would be nice considering how low these go and still use the OEM bump stops (H&R seems to provide shorter bump stops for their moderate drop).

I agree with your assessment, though that so far with the G8x, it's been more of a PIA than other platforms to get right lol

Stock G80's are about 3/4 of an inch CLOSER to the fender than G82 or around there. Its wild.... You may have seen this pic I took at the dealer?

It's bonkers how much higher the M4 sits

Yea from that picture, it definitely seems like the M3 needs more than 10-15mm to close that rear gap. 25mm seems more like it, as you said... the M4 needs like a 50mm drop!
