Front axles will be connected to the transfer case and front wheels.
Transfer case usually located on the front left next to the transmission.

Ok, the last solid AWD car I had, with any power. The trans was completely different from the FWD car. and the transfer case, was connected to the left side of the trans. There was an output shaft and it just bolted to that. But the t-case wasnt connected to the front wheels, in any way.

Which made the Downpipes and exhaust, totally different from the FWD car.

Get the car in and put it on a lift.

Ordered the Remus Sport Axle through r33_RGsport!

Combination of: Remus Sport Exhaust Axleback + Valvetronic Midpipe + VSC 2 Valve Controller is going to be slapped onto the car, can't wait to hear what that combination creates.

Race is louder than Sport but there's no way it won't be loud enough with open valves plus the Midpipe.

Hey r33_RGSport , the second sound file sounds killer and just curious what either sound file is for Remus optioned? Meaning, is one cat back and the other axle? Sport vs. Race? Thanks; this is by far my favorite sounding exhaust for this gen M3 thus far.

To tell you the truth, there is detail description on which sound is which setup.
All they posted is just an abbreviation of the note from factory.

Once I received mine and few other customers received their order through me, there will be more video and sound clips available with better details.

Thanks so much, brother..I just did the resonators-delete and replace with straight pipe, but I'm really interested in either slip on solution, if not cat-back since it cost me next to nothing to remove the resonators...but I need to hear the difference in race vs. sport for sure for slip ons..and if possible, cat-back for both as well before making a decision and asking you for some pricing.

The one that I ordered for company test car is Race version.
And I do have prototype midpipe on it.
Once I received it, I will test it with both stock midpipe and my version of midpipe.

I will not test the sport version, unfortunately.

Understood and appreciated...just curious how much louder it is than stock, or in my case, with resonators removed

Oh, it will be loud for sure, haha.
Based on my experience on X3M (same engine and similar midpipe components), Remus race with non-resonated midpipe and no secondary cat, it is loud.

Here is the video of my X3MC with full Remus Race cat-back (small resonator, no secondary cat).
