I was super impressed with the shipping speed from the Rag Company. I placed an order last week after reading this thread and remembering I needed new wash mitts and some more towels. it took two days to arrive which was awesome.

I'm personally a fan of waffle weave drying towels so check theirs and see if it fits your preference. Waffle weave + drying aid is a great way to dry your car. You think it won't work, but it does like magic. I just used Bead Maker as a drying aid awhile back and was very satisfied with the results. Leaving a little protection is the cherry on top of all that gloss. Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.
Highly recommend these for drying your car just used it last night after the recommendation and was the best drying towel you could probably only use 1 large towel to dry the whole car I used 2 but it was fast and came out with no streaks.

Thank you for the recommendation nettles

I use an electric leaf blower. No need to touch the paint at all.

I second the Rag Company, and denounce Chemical Guys. There are very few products that are worth the shit, that they sell. All of their polishing compounds, are complete garbage. They dust like crazy, and just don't work.

There are a few great options for windows. The Gauntlet from the Rag Company is an excellent drying towel. For windows, I would actually get some surgical huck towels. If you're not going to glass coat the windows.

If you are going to glass coat the windows, I would just recommend cleaning them really well, and then using a blower to blow them off. This goes for the car, as well. I try not to touch the paint on my car, with anything, except for a wash mitt, and it needs to have some high quality actual car wash shampoo on it. I recommend Gyeon Bathe, or Kock Chemie GSF.

I cannot say enough good things about this drying towel from Griots Garage. It's large and has the ability to absorb two vehicles worth of water while still doing an amazing job drying. Sure it's pricey but it has been one of the best car wash product investments I've ever made.

I have the same one. Although, not from Griots Garage, these are made by someone else, anyway.

Same type from the Rag Company, 1/3rd the price. https://theragcompany.com/collection...37726058217655

I might have to order the one from the Rag Company and do a comparison. I'd be interested if it really did do as good of a job as the Griots one.

I think its worth a shot, especially for the price. Also, The Rag Company, is pretty much the Gold Standard in detailing supplies, along with Detailed Image, and AutoGeek, so I doubt they would sell junk.

I'm on board with the Griots products. Most of them are pretty good. I especially like their B.O.S.S. polishing compounds. Those are really good.

For me, though, its 3D One, and Sonax Perfect Finish, which takes care of just about all of my polishing needs.
