G80 M3 - OLED GTS Rear Lights

I came across this video which I thought I would share showing the M3 GTS OLED style rear lights made for and fitted to a G80 M3.

Highly interested in these, I wonder what the build quality is like. Seems pretty inexpensive for OLED

Our cars need these. The stock tail lights are such a huge downgrade from the LCI tails on the F8x platform (never mind the OLED variants on GTS and CS). These will help the backend a bit from looking like a Lexus. Hope these are created soon for the G82 as I want a set!

Doubt genuine OLED tech... Think its OLED style.

Personally I wouldn't go near my brake lights. Headlights maybe, as you could see if something where wrong. But if a set of taillights were to go wrong whilst driving, you could cause a serious accident.

Stay with OEM for critical items like this IMO.

OLED or not they're much closer to OEM then the actual F80 and F82 versions.

The F gen ones use one huge LED diffuser in the shape of the "individual leafs".. where as the G80 ones are individual panels (not sure if they're led or oled). That's what makes them look so much OEM like when starting up.

OK this may sound strange but I would 110% buy these if they made some hybrid version between these and the OEM g80 lights.

Meaning... if they had the inner grey piece (brake lights, turn signal, reverse light) from the OEM lights put together with the outer red OLED part from these tails (part that illuminates when headlights on)... that would be perfect.

The inner grey part is the only thing I dislike about these. The oem grey piece is so much better.

I finally got my set in yesterday about a month after I ordered them. Quality seems good, although they are noticeably lighter than OEM. I got one if the inner lights installed last night and it doesn't seem to line up all that well. There is a considerable gap between the light and the car. Hoping I can mess with it a little to get it closer to flush. Will report back with the final results soon

I just got a set of GTS OLED taillights from euro active retrofit that I bought for a pretty good discount on Black Friday. Has anybody had any past experience with this company the quality and customer service! I opened the box it has me kind of worrisome because there's no instructions or any thing and it's from HK and from the YouTube videos that I've seen there is a extra cord that is attached to the back of the taillight that also has what looks like to me some kind of fuse or some sort! All the videos I have seen from different companies show no cords sticking out of the back of the taillights or anything like that only the ones from the car!

I don't know. Where did you order them from? I would have just ordered from R44 (unless you did)? Let us know what you end up doing! GL.

I did not order them from r44 because they are over a grand! I got mine on Black Friday for 600 down from 800$. I bought them euro active retrofits.

How did the install go? I am seriously considering a set sometime soon.
