Thanks for your input I saw your pics and I like the drop and all that, but I have yet to see confirmation that this is the right item for AWD. I know it fits but is this the kit that KW will label for AWD applications, or are they developing another kit with different part no. that is specific for AWD?

not gonna hold my breath on KW releasing anything specific for the g80/82 anytime soon with all the delays in shipping and production. Im gonna bite on RWD HAS kit for the xdrive bc im tired of feeling like I'm sitting in a jeep. Buying the kw has kit

You will be just fine....

We have reviewed the connecting parts on both the RWD and X Drive and outside of the front drive train the suspension parts remain static.

Those X drive parts are not sprung by the KW HAS or whatever suspension we use.

I agree with you Vic55, I was in reference to M3AWD poster above thats why after I saw your aventurine red g80 I went to my local shop and ordered the KWs now I'm just waiting. He is reluctant to do it, but I assured him after all the feedback and pics on here that it will work

If by the time I do my 1200 mile service I don't have other options I'll order the available KW HAS and just go with it

your dealer will care if you are dropped?

Not really, but I'd rather get some miles on the car stock and then start modding. Then I like to do my mods one at a time so I can always have something new. The 1200 mile service just felt like the natural line in the sand for me to do suspension & spacers

Im the polar opposite, I mod or plan my mods to be done within 2 weeks of ownership or even 1.
