Blackvue DR900X-2CH Dashcam

Has anyone installed the Blackvue DR900X-2CH Dashcam? Which fuse did you tap in for the MAIN type, where the power is always on, regardless of whether or not the car is running, and ACC-Ignition type, where the power is on when the ignition is on? Is the location of the front fuse box the same as in the G20? Thanks

Does anyone have an answer to this? I'm looking for the same thing.

I used the Blackvue Battery B-124X for a much easier and cleaner installation. You just need to run the power wire to the front or rear cigarette lighter socket.

Alright so stupid question, do the front and rear camera plug into each other or do you get two battery packs?

The rear camera feed needs to connect to the front main unit.

Is there an easy way to do it so you don't see the cable running through the car?

You just need one battery connected.

You can route it through the headliner.
Obviously you need to remove a few interior trims and panels... but nothing crazy.

Gotcha - I'll look up some vids when doing it, assuming I ever get the car…

Are use this exact dash camera in all my cars. It works great and you can use a hotspot with it so you can remote into your car and also get notifications of impacts. You need the battery back up unit that they sell for it. You will power the camera so it is on 24/7. The battery backup is for parking mode so you don’t use the car battery.

BTW the fuse box is located above the passenger footwell, close to the right side. Extremely hard to reach.

Which power socket did you plug the battery into?

I believe the Cellink NEO battery should be the same. You just need the connector to power the front Dashcam

I have the B-112 battery pack. It uses the lighter plug as well. I'm gonna try to install it in the trunk.

Yes it uses the same plug. Should be an easy install. I routed my wires from the headliner to the trunk. Just remove the plastic molding from the doors and route to the Back seat. No need to remove any trim

Thanks! I'll give it a go in the next few days and see how it goes.
