I know. Sorry. . I really have no idea how it happened. It was set and then it was unset and then the setting wasn't there when I went to redo it and now it works at 5. I'm as much in the dark as you are.

Many thanks, Modat, it worked! Indeed under Headunit, it gives you the added option of 5 blinks in Idrive under Exterior Lighting. So coding doesn't automatically set it to 5, it simply enables the option in Idrive for 5, thus step 2 after coding is to go into Idrive to set it for 5 blinks (and you still have the 1 and 3 options).

And thank you, Snare, for giving me my initial hope, sharing that it was indeed possible.

Love this place, always have...as I have owned an F82, then an E93 (and still have it), and now a G82. So I've been around this place for about 5 years since 2016 when I got the F82, my first BMW.

Thanks! I hadn't checked the iDrive setting itself & was wondering if the coding even worked.

If you have a 22 send a support email to bimmercode and they will send you a update to code out the ASD.

They’re sending updates out individually?

Yes they are still in development of the newest update for the app and they have a few other features they are working on but the disable ASD for the 2022's they have done. Its a 2 step process now due to BMW's update of the system.

Send the email straight from the app as it includes the log files that they want.

I think you can do that in the car itself with no BimmerCode required? Maybe that was for
The number of signals when you lock
It but there is some adjustment in there I thought

No, ISTA+ makes it easy though.

I'll take a look that way. I'm assuming it's going to need a recent version of it although mine is from 2018.

just connect 9v battery to the plug on the caliper, and it will retract it. Very easy.

Is that all it takes? Wow that's a great help as I was just thinking about what a pain it will be to figure out how to change the brakes myself with having the electronic brake.

Yep. Not discovered by me but another forum member in the track pads thread. I've already done my brakes.

Just took delivery a little over one week ago and have my OBDLink CX in hand. Been itching to start coding. Two questions:

What's the difference in the free version versus buying the full version of the app for $35?

Looking for suggestions. What all have you coded?

Thanks fam!

I don't think you can code anything without paying for the full version. Also, turning ASD off doesn't work on 22's yet. Sucks because that was the main reason I bought the app.

Correct. Can't code in the free version. If you do a search in this post on the earlier pages, there are several lists of what you can code.

Send an email to support from the app, they will send you a testflight invitation to code it out.

My car is an early 22 and I was able to code it out this way.

DoubleDave, I got a TestFlight invitation. BimmerCode support says to make sure that I "export the activation code" in case I need or want to restore ASD. Can you explain this to me? I only see a link to TestFlight and no code. Maybe I didn't go far enough in the process.
