Absolutely file a claim. I don't file anything less than about $3,000 but you that's a claim worth filing

2008 in my Audi A4 I drove over a pipe on a highway and it punctured my fuel line. I pulled over after smelling gas and the fuel was spraying out the passenger front wheel. Insurance covered it... but my premium went up and I would pay it over 3 years. It was just 2k so I paid it. But i guess a 15k bill is better to pay over 3 years than now.

Glad you're ok dude. Hope you learned the lesson. I'm sure the car will be good as new after the repairs.
Not gonna lie, had my own scary experience with TC off on cold tires thinking I was being cute. Needless to say I pull up the PSI/Temps chart on the dash now before doing anything crazy and don't drive with TC below 30% unless I know exactly what I'm trying to do.

I have seen dealerships put in detailed information into car fax when bringing into the car for service or repair. You are not on the clear on that. if you do decide to trade into another BMW dealership, it will be on record as well.

Sorry- But this what you get! You disrespected the cars power. Not trying to be an ass or anything. But this whey I never buy used M cars. You never know what other person has done to the car. My 2020 M4 S55 puts down over 450 WHP. The S58 I am pretty sure is putting down almost 480WHP to the wheels. You have to be very careful with high powered RWD cars.
I am sorry for your lost!! Let this be a hard lesson to learn. Hope it works out for you! |
