I can’t understand why JB4 can’t control the Exhaust valves if the Leib controller is able to over CAN bus….

Seeing the Shmee video, it seems like the full downpipes back exhaust is too antisocial. I have a few older neighbours and I am not sure how they will cope with the cold starts. Sometimes I get called for work in the middle of the night as well. I have ordered the same exhaust and from what I know, the Remus secondary cats and opf delete pipes are separate. I was thinking of maybe installing this as an axle or secondary cat back exhaust and keep the rest of the pipes in case I need the whole system later. But then I will not know how the full system sounds like. So I am not sure what to do. Any suggestions from you guys/gals?

I like the way the exhaust sounds in Shmee's video. You can start by installing the full exhaust and see how it sounds. Test with both valves open and closed. If it's too loud for your taste then cut off the secondary cats from your old exhaust and attach them to the Remus. If you want to sell those secondary cat delete pipes, let me know and I'll take it off your hands.

Thanks. Great advice. I will see how it sounds in person. I obviously liked the sound in the video not sure how the volume will be in person. The tone was great. But the damn thing is taking too long. I ordered early august right at the time preorders started. But the delivery has been pushed back many times, from September to now mid or late November. Will look at selling the secondaries delete pipes if its too loud and will let you know. Cheers.

r33_RGSport Is the sport the same as the race version when the valves are open? AFAICT it looks like it's just the muffler that's different, and it seems like that's bypassed when the valves are open anyway?

Unfortunately, I don't have answer to that since I haven't seen any of them in person.
But, even if I do, I rarely seen anyone going with Sport version. At least not in California.

The midpipe in the pic looks similar to what I got. I guess that is the correct pipe for US spec cars. Just need the missing caps.
