MSS HAS input from those that have it installed

Hey all,

I'm getting the MSS HAS kit installed tomorrow, along with stud conversion and 15mm spacers all around on my 21' M3C…just want it lowered reasonably, do to not the best roads here I'm NJ….meaning not slammed. I know this kit does that pretty well, and just want to know for those that have it, did you just have them installed at the lowest setting both rear and front?

I'm thinking something like a finger and a half ago to almost two fingers at the absolute most would be good, since I'm definitely at three fingers pretty much everywhere…but wanted to ask last input here for those that see this in time.

Regardless, yes, this is all personal opinions and all that and I will obviously have this convo with my installer tomorrow…wish me luck anyways; can't friggen wait!

I have yet to install mine. Probably this week. You can always install it the standard way and drive it a few hundred miles. If the front doesn't settle where you want it you can do the mod that others have done.

I am about 250 miles in with my set. Went with 10mm rear, and lowest possible standard setting for the front, which is full lock. You will have to drive between 1500-2000 miles to see the actual drop. Running 15mm on the F and 13s on the rear on P-Zero. Front does rub time to time, still debating either shave or heat the plastic. 15s look really good so don't really mind the rub.

I have mine as low as possible in the front and I think 10mm lower in the rear. It's not slammed and it looks way better than stock.

You already have seen my pictures here of both the drop pre Ben mod and post and my PM's...

But for others- this pic is an MSS right after a drop with the front maxed (No Ben mod) and about 10mm left in the adjusters in rear:

This picture is straight ahead so no fooling the gaps LOL

I did full low on the front and left 5mm from full in the rear. I think the rear looks perfect like that and doesn't bottom out or anything

How much did you shave off the rear bumps?

on this drop nothing

This was all pre r33_RGSport Ben's front mod.

Im not sure what he did on the mod one but took a little off the rear for sure that was not going to be missed.

Do you have the front set at the lowest setting? What size spacers?

Yes it's at lowest setting, but these settle from what I've read in all the other threads; and I have 15mm at all four corners.
