Markup on M3?

I'm still hearing about mark up in NorthCal on M3 allocations. Wondering anyone knows about a good dealer/broker in the area.

I bought mine from bmw of San Francisco it was pretty easy and they only put perm ceramic coating as the the only thing I had to purchase with the car.

hopefully it's better up there, than down here in so cal. most dealers are anywhere from 5-20K mark ups.

Check with Clutch. They had a 22 M3 Alloc the other day. I think they're $500 broker fee.

BMW of San Francisco, Weatherford BMW, East Bay BMW, BMW San Rafael will all sell at MSRP.

BMW of Monrovia sells at MSRP.
BMW of Beverly Hills and Long Beach should be as well since they're under Sonic Automotive company and this company doesn't allow markup.

+1. Several dealers selling at MSRP in the Bay. I went through this exercise myself when ordering my car and out-of-state simply doesn't make sense because it costs the same within a 2-3 state radius. Sure, you might save a few bucks once you start getting out past Texas, but when you factor in flights, gas, lodging, and several days worth of your time driving it's moot. It might make more sense for East Coasters.

It's interesting though. I feel like these cars don't get much attention in NorCal because everyone and their grandma just wants a Tesla or some hybrid so it works in your favor.

Beverly Hills is out of allocations for the year while Long Beach has one but they're marking it up $5K according to the SA I spoke to today.

There's two in Monrovia if you want to try giving them a call if those units are available. 1 Manual for 77k and 1 Auto for 75k

Thanks PokGuy I have a specific build in mind and also had an unpleasant experience with their internet sales manager last week when I tried to ascertain what position in the queue I would in be in if I were to put my name down on their allocation waitlist. She wouldn't answer the question then got angry when I asked again saying "I don't know...I've helped you all I can"

Thats probably the truth... they dont know really and it seems inventory except for super high spec cars has been hard to find.

Almost all M3 orders are from customer allocations.. ones in stock are those that walked away from their orders.. thats why you see ridiculous builds sometimes
