Edit: I called genius, they said they don't know what the completion date is. Told me to call back in a month for the vessel name lol.

Edit 2: My sales guy says it will complete production by the 19th.

Original completion date was 10/18

Just got off phone with genius and was told 10/14 for completion date ( South Carolina factory).


What's ETA after for delivery after being completed at SC? Going to Massachusetts

Alright looks like my car is at the front of the production line for Week 42 cars. I just hit exterior body assembly status. I am sure several of you will be following shortly.[IMG][/IMG]

Is this the most definitive tool re: stop sales? I'm not seeing any open recalls come up for my car.

No stop sales as of last night. Looks like we will be lucky and not have to worry about the engine bearing issue as well since we are in production after it was issued. Keeping my fingers crossed for now stop sales on my radio and parking assistance package.

That’s awesome but I don’t see how you are week 42 brother. You must be week 41 now. You will be done this week.

OK the site just updated. My vehicle is production begins right now. So it looks like week 42 is moving along. I’d like to hear from the rest of you also. Let’s stick with each other through this process of the next two weeks.

Confirmed with my CA yesterday it is a week 42 build and hasn't been pulled forward in their system it just looks like I am on the front end of it. Should be completed by 10/17 which puts me right at the start of Week 42. I have been popping into the Week 40 and Week 41 threads and it is wild that I am ahead of some of those folks. BMW seems to be all over the place with the production queue but I can't complain.

Also would love to hear where others are at in the Week 42 process

They do seem to be all over the place. You’re absolutely right. I just hope they have all the materials for our vehicles and they don’t plan on having these things sit in a port for two months waiting on chips.

This is so odd to me, I got an allocation with a production number at the very beginning of September and I've been week 44 this whole time lol. Makes no sense.

I ordered mid-July and received an allocation on 8/19. I was week 40 then got pushed back to 41 and now 42. Still in 112 status and afraid I'm going to keep getting pushed back.
