Does anyone know what size socket is needed to release the front struts?

I did DIY the MSS HAS kit on my G80. It can be done for sure. The front doesn't require spring compressors, so it is less difficult than a lot of other cars. The rear takes some brute force (extending your 1/2 inch drive ratchet with a 3 foot pipe really helps) to turn the bolts. Other than that, the available videos will walk you right through it.

Not too difficult! 2 hrs max…. MSS rear drop is perfect, front isn't good enough…. No rake at all
