1000m Gold Wheels

I've been going back and forth with the Gold 1000m wheels for my Portimao M4 that's coming in. I've always liked Gold/Bronze wheels. I did a quick mockup of what it would look like.

I went with KO interior, and red brake calipers. Considering this combination, I think it's going to be too much.

Anyways, Here's the mock up and the 100m Gold wheels without a background. If anyone is considering other colors they should be able to do a quick mockup.

I had an M8 Coupe in Gray with the same color as the wheels I am attaching (for color only). I have an M4 Competition ordered with Dravit Gray and Kayalami interior. What is your opinion if I were to have my OEM 826 wheels powder coated this color (bronze chrome)? I'm thinking it would look good.

Nice PS. Much better than I could do. However, the fronts are 20s and the rears are 21s, so the PS makes the front tires look thick. The tires are more rubber bandy.

These were the wheels on my M8 (sold). The color is named Bronze Chrome and I like the color very much. I intend to have my wheels powder coated this color when I receive my M4 in Dravit Gray.

That color will look amazing with the gold flake in Davit. Do not go nuts, but a couple other well placed bronze highlights would tie it all together...perhaps the horizontal raised lines on the side vents, or something with the side-mirror caps?

I had my wheels powder coated bronze today. They really compliment the Dravit Grey paint now. This photo doesn't really do it justice though. Hopefully better pics this weekend.

The golden wheels are trendy nowadays, they add more emphasis to a nice car like BMW. The model on these OEM wheels reminds me of a few aftermarket wheels that I see in stores such as 4WheelOnline.

Excited to see more pics of this...they look great! In this pic they almost look platinum colored (like goldish silver), which looks awesome.

I think I need to do this to my 826M wheels. This is perfect on Dravit. What color is it, specifically? I know prismatic has 100 bronze shades.

Here are a few more pics from last weekend. I'm not sure the color that was ultimately used but the color I referenced was Bronze Chrome from Prizmatic. It's pretty close.

Here is one more photo taken indoors which better represents the actual color. They tend to look a lot lighter in direct sunlight

This is how Bronze Chrome comes out. I'll have to keep looking. Any chance its Black Chrome or Black Chrome II?

Wow, how have you not suffered an overdose from automotive ecstasy?

That looks like a timeless beauty…

Considering all the cars you've had in your stable (or maybe it's a hangar) the G80 must be something else for you to be having so much fun with it.
