Whats the recommended break in?

Hey all,

I cant for the life of me find any info on the break in procedure in the manual.

Was given no real instructions from th edealer. I have been keeping it below 5500 revs and nannying it a bit.

If i do put my foot down a liittle bit I make sure I change gears early to not hit the high revs...

Any one knwo whta BMW recommends exactly. I wont keep the car after a few years ownership but I stil want to look after it.

5500 RPM, no higher then 106 mph, avoid excessive load. This is in the owner's manual built into i-drive. Search for break in and you'll find it.
