Bluetooth version no longer compatible

I got into my 2024 M4 Convertible today and could no longer connect my iPhone 12 Pro (same phone I致e had since I bought the car in August 2023). When I tried to add the phone again I got an error message. Something to the effect 'Bluetooth version no longer compatible'. I cannot figure out how to get my phone reconnected to my M4??

Very curious what is the root cause too. Any guidance on how to fix?

I had this once. I just deleted the everything related to CarPlay and forgot the WiFi and Bluetooth connections. Then I set it up from scratch.

Reset iDrive. Hold down volume button until system reset. It takes a minute or so but will reset and you値l be good to go.

I致e had it happen several times. Every time had to delete the phone and pair it again.

This happened to me on Saturday and resetting iDrive was the solution.

Thanks for the tip. I deleted the CarPlay profile on my iPhone and did the iDrive reset and things are working again. Thanks for the solution.

Got this couple days ago. Wouldn't connect to anything (my iphone 8 nor wife's iphone 14). Seems like a ID8 thing? My wake word disappeared, too (It's hey Gamora since she's green).
I've tried everything but resetting with the volume button. Thanks for the info.

I also for the first time got this message last week. Reset iDrive and it was back to normal.
