Order Placed

So I’ve been eyeing a new RS3 for a while. I’d been talking with my dealer, but the order process was like 12-18 months. I went across the street to BMW and saw the 25 m4 comp on the showroom floor and I fell in love… Placed my order Monday and status was 112 today. This is my first BMW. Looking forward to seeing what all the fuss is about.

Congrats. Start reading everything you can about it now, so you know how the process works, before the inevitable post, "my car is in 155 status, how long will it take from here?" If you need to make changes, make them, soon. Once your order goes into 150 status, its locked in, and cannot be changed.

Also know there is a list of options you can get installed at the port. Port installed options can be added anytime "before" the vehicle arrives at the destination port, state site. If you add anything at the port, it will also be added to the window sticker, as "coming with the car." If you have any question about what each item is, take the part number and enter it into Google. That should give you an idea for most of the parts.

Time to start thinking about what brake pads you're going to run.
