[EU] Ordered a week ago, delivery in dec?

Hi all,

I ordered my M4 a week ago and just got this update from the dealer

Looks like I might get the car in 1 month...

Anyone else experienced this?

My M3 just hit the dealer in Chicago. 5 weeks from production to floor

I took allocation from them a week before production so still got to change stuff.

Wasn't expecting it this fast.

Ports wide open now

That seems to be in direct contradiction with everyone worried about the ports being jammed based on this one internet article. Hope you're right.

I would count ur lucky stars that you got urself on a boat that fast. People have been waiting like 4-6 weeks and some have just waltzed in and gotten on a boat within 1-2 weeks. But thats more of an anomaly than the norm. So congrats and enjoy ur thanksgiving treat..lol

EU customers are definitely lucky and good luck with your process. We have so information regarding US customer timeline and below is the link to that discussion.

Thanks a lot for the info.
I saw that poll, but found it odd (the speediness of it).
Other dealers also told me a timeline of 3-6m, even here in EU.

That said, I got a hint from the dealer as to what happened.
He was saying that around the end of the year there are always quotas (i guess he means allocations available)

Anyway, we'll see

I'm from Czech Republic and absolutely different situation here:

11. October 2021 - Placed order and pay deposit for M3c xDrive (portimao blue metallic)

12. November 2022 still waiting to be build

Or maybe I'm just unlucky person 🤔🤔
