Official SKYSCRAPER GREY G80 M3 / G82 M4 Thread

Not my car, but just came across these photos. That looks just gorgeous IMHO. I currently have Skyscraper Grey with 826M bi-color wheels on my order, but am thinking of maybe switching to 825M bi-color. I just like the look of the brighter wheels much better and it still upsets me that all the available wheels are dark. The choice will be between powdercoating the 826M in a brighter color or just get the 825M bi-color.

That looks great! I rarely see the 825M in person and they work very well on Skyscraper

Had a detailing fest.
Took it to my dealer's detail department today and they dialed it in …

Now I'm doing interior clean and mats, and setup M1 and M2 modes.
The interface is so easy.
Anyways…… the carbon bits & accents go with the paint so very nice. This drives so well - non intimidating….
Day 3 has been very good. Best yet now that it's shiny and paint-perfect. My detailers were so careful- they did it like I would have….. I just don't have the time or energy to paint correct like these professionals…..

Hi Everyone, heres some pics of my M3, ive had it a month now and its just hit the running in miles so waiting for a service which is booked but still about two weeks away.
So far, its lived upto expectation, i did a road trip to snowdonia Wales with my wife and kids - The bendy country lanes and mountain roads were just a dream to drive on - What a CAR!!

I was very worried about the colour, i didnt like the brooklyn grey so went with this - now its here in person this colour couldnt be nicer, its the perfect grey!. If i had the extra 1200 i probably would have gone with Dravit grey but looking back now - this is so nice as the contrast between body and details in black are perfect.

Thanks MassComp, Ah the wait, if you've not optioned many extras then you should only hit one or two delays - internal supply chain. In all with 3 small delays mine took 7 months to land at my local dealership.

Thank you! I have to say that the bi-color 826M wheels and Fiona Red look so good with Skyscraper Grey!

Just took delivery of my 2023 M3 Comp X. Not the best of pics but they'll do just fine for now. Love the color. Got tints yesterday. Better pics to follow in the future.

Love the Fiona Red with Skyscraper. It looks amazing. But I'm probably going to chicken out on getting a red interior and go with Silverstone instead.

@danf72 - i hope you dont mind, I felt it made the inside of the car look and feel a bit too light against the skyscraper grey (of course i only had the car configurator pics to measure against) ...in the dealership they had a brooklyn grey M4 with that interior it just seemed to work very well with that colour.

@massComp, yes!! tyres were a lottery alright, even the dealer had no idea...I had pirellis on an S4 back in the day and they were so loud if I close my eyes I can still hear them...

Yes, the contrast could be better between SG and Silverstone. Probably SG with Red or Black interior would be a better contrast. I guess black might be a good choice as well, although it won't pop like red..

I just can't see how the new curved display looks like anything other than a bolt-on afterthought with a kickstand. I know we have no choice and eventually this might make the iDrive 7 look dated, so I hope I can get used to it not long after I get the car.

This will never look dated to my eyes. HUGE part of why I bought the car. It's a perfect marriage of outstanding dash design with integrated screens and technology.
