Unable to add anything more substantive to an earlier list of why this car is terrific other than the rear diffuser stands out among so many diffusers of average quality. Great decision!

Your car looks great! It started out virtually identical to my car (Black Sapphire G82 with Fiona interior), though you've done quite a bit more to your car than I have to mine. I've gone with the "OEM+" look, adding small visual enhancements here and there, but I can't say I disagree with any of the choices you've made with your car. It really looks fantastic.

I have always been more of an oem+ guy but if i was to go all in, it would be how you did it. You did this right. You didn’t fuck around, you made a plan, and executed. Perhaps i am in the minority but when I look at that work of art, i immediately think of the work and planning that went into it. Any moron can get a few bolt ons and make power and turn some heads. The work you put in makes the build for me.

My favorite has to be the hood. I could have sworn you had the adro front end but no, it’s the taller hood that makes it seem that way. At least to me in pictures. It’s absolutely stunning.

I was looking to do an audio upgrade as well. If you haven’t turned it off already, have you noticed any difference with the active sound? I heard that the pumped in exhaust sound becomes noticeably fake sounding & doesn’t sound right when the sound system is upgraded

I upgraded to the alpha one speaker and amplifier from bimmertech. When you program the amp through Bimmertech, which must be done for it to work, ask them to turn off the active sound. I believe Bavsound also offers the same option.

I added a Rockford Fostgate Amp and two 12 inch subs that conveniently came off of a free channel from the Alpha one amp. With the added bass the system sounds phenomenal!

I found a wrap for aventurine red I saw one a carbon fiber hood, looks pretty much identical to the paint especially for a tri coat (at least I think aventurine is tri coat). You have black right? I’m sure a wrap can be found, won’t be too hard to match

Thank you for noticing the effort. My favorite mods not in any particular order are as follows:
- Mode valve controller - it works great with the OEM buttons. Overrides the partially open OEM valves and significantly changes the aggressiveness of your exhaust,
- Alpha N Hood - it’s just beautiful!!! Adds the aggressiveness the car needs. The Kevlar under the hood is just stunning. The fitment was perfect.
- Valvetronic titanium exhaust - Again excellent sound and quality.
- Carbahn tune - I was honestly surprised that a BMW dealership sponsored tune would be this good. You may not be putting 1000 horse power at the wheels and turning 8 second quarter miles, but you will be force on the streets while loving the beast that you unleashed.
