Currently in Hawaii for a vacation. Checked this morning -- car is now in "Quality Check." Either it skipped "Assembly in Progress" or I missed it.

Significant progress in the last 24 hours. When I checked this morning, my car had moved to "Awaiting carrier assignment" status in My BMW.

Want to start taking some bets from you guys. When do you think I'll take delivery? Keep in mind that I'm in Denver, so the ship will go to the west coast and then the car will be trucked from SoCal to Colorado. I also am having a few performance carbon pieces installed at the port.

I got lazy on my vacation. Car went to "Dispatched from factory" on 5/5 and "At port" on 5/6.

Did a quick review of the schedule for ships headed from Bremerhaven to Hueneme in the next month or so. The Tulane (WW) departed today, but I suppose I'd be obscenely lucky to have gotten on that ship after such a short time at port. The Tijuca (also WW) departs 5/23 -- I'm guessing this will be my ship.

I went to "In Transit" status on My BMW this morning. I called the Genius hotline -- my car is on the Grand Cosmo, which departed yesterday! The ship is scheduled to arrive at Port Hueneme in CA on 6/16.

Don't want to jinx myself, but I feel very fortunate that everything has been proceeding so smoothly.

Would still love to hear from anyone with experience having M Performance Parts installed at the VPC. I'm trying to gauge how long having the parts installed will add to the time at port.

I suppose I should reach out to my PFF shop today to let them know we can expect the car sometime in late June.

Just a little shipping update. The Grand Cosmo hit the Atlantic side of the Panama Canal and made it through the Gatun Locks today. I've attached a screenshot from the webcam.

Fleetmon is showing a scheduled arrival at Hueneme of 6/14, which is a couple days earlier than the 6/16 I was told by by the Genius line. Would be nice to see it arrive early, but I guess we'll see what happens.

Beautiful build. Chalk is a very dynamic color. I like it better than Hockenheim Silver which had too much metallic

My status on My BMW moved to "In transit" this morning. I called the Genius hotline -- the car is scheduled for delivery to the dealership on Sunday. I understand that because of Sunday and the holiday on Monday, it won't actually be delivered to the dealership until Tuesday. If that's true, it looks like I'm picking the vehicle up on Wednesday, July 6th.

Trust me -- I'll have you guys covered. I'm taking the car straight from the dealership to the PPF shop. I'll take a few photos of the car at the dealership, but I've asked them not to wash or detail the vehicle so it won't be at its best. My working plan is to have some professional photos taken after I get the car back from the PPF shop.

Yep. That one was at Schomp BMW in Denver. I believe it sold. Beautiful specimen that made me extremely excited for my car. There were some odd choices on the build though. It was completely loaded, but for reasons that defy explanation, it didn't have laserlights. Also no carbon buckets. It was ~120k MSRP and Schomp was asking 5k over.

Congrats!! if you're going to post to this thread, just post the link to a new thread, that you create. This new delivery, deserves a new thread. Post a good thread, with some good pictures, and you have a good chance of being on the front page. There haven't been any threads on the G82 in chalk, yet.
