Coilovers with electronic dampers

Hi,

Been away from the BMW scene for 3 years but might buy a G82.

I remember my F82 was driving TERRIBLE on the M Performance suspension (height adjustable springs) but when I got the KW DDC coilovers on it completely changed the car. Was such a blast to ride and loved that still could change the hardness of the suspension.

When I’m searching for G82 I only find HAS and coilovers with EDC cancellation. Didn’t anyone make a coilover set with electronic canoes yet? Or are the OEM dampers good enough with HAS?

I have KW HAS and my ride is great. I also am still using the V1 rear springs which KW has since replaced and I have no ride quality issues. Car is planted and I can feel all three suspension modes just fine with the KW has.

Comfort became sport. Sport became sport plus. And sport plus became sport plus +

Just don't slam it and your ride quality will be just fine.

We have installed a couple sets of KW HAS. They are decent as long as you don't slam it and take away all the compression travel.

The G82 dampers and suspension is LEAGUES better than the F82. I literally did not buy an F80 despite test driving them for well over a year because of how bad the suspension was.
