I do not have any details on that but i did see a post on the forums where they acknowledge the problem and said they will take care of existing customers.

I am resurrecting my thread.
So I went to a muffler shop to have the valvetronic midpipe installed. I think it may have been 7-8 months ago. Something was off with the sound it was making and I ignored it for a while, but bought the MAD Midpipe and as I put my car on the lift to install it, lo and behold, what a ghastly sight, the VT midpipe has been butchered. See the picture attached. This was done to fit it. Would have been nice to tell me that it cannot be fitted. I am planning to take it to a fabricator and do their best to revive it. Dont want to spend another $2000 on it again. Anyone has a closeup picture of that section? Annoyingly that section has a bend and i am sure plays a part in the characteristic sound it makes. I have emailed valvetronic to let me know that schematics of that section but I am not sure if they will. |
