Thanks everyone! Yeah, the wing was a tough choice personally. I didn't want it to look tacky or ricey. I'm glad I ended up getting it though, I think it fits the G82's lines nicely. I will be tracking the car so I figure there is at least SOME justification for it lol!

Your F80 CS looks amazing, at least from the outside. In terms of (exterior) looks, I would take it over the G82 any day.

Thanks! I will miss it, and I do consider the F80 one of the best looking sedans ever! However, it's my 2nd F80 and it was time to get something different.

That being said, it's now day 2 of ownership, I took my first spirited drive on a midnight canyon and took this pic above the city. Not the best pic, it was hard to frame and focus since it was pitch black up there.

I was still feeling the car out on the drive up, particularly the brakes in SPORT mode. They engaged with lots of initial bite that didn't feel as good as my F80 M3 CS with racing pads. The G82 is a little under-sprung in my humble opinion, with a little too much dip under heavy breaking and a tad more roll than I would like, but that is easily solved with aftermarket suspension. For a street setup, it's pretty great.

On the way down I started to get to feel more in tune with the car, and it was a blast. It's just got GRIP and so much POWER. Since I am still in the break-in period I did not want to go past 5500 rpm, but even short shifting the car just PULLS. It gobbled up the canyon road like it was nothing. I was smiling the whole way down.

Appears to be a quality product but wow, price is kinda steep for a plastic skid plate.
But then, I'm sure many will gladly pay that much to save the lip from getting destroyed.

It’s worth every penny. You have to see the quality of it. This company is pretty awesome. Top-notch customer service. Check them out. They do a lot more than skid plates. Mostly high end custom counter measures (radar Detectors and laser jammers) for exotics.
