Not at all. BMW needs to fast track a dramatic LCI update. Preferably as soon as 2022.

To address the aerodynamic comment: According to the official release of the F80, it had a Drag Coefficient of 0.34... the new m3 has one of 0.33.

Can't wait to get my hands on the new M3. Love the overall package, rear is great and can live with the front. It sure will be a performer so overall great fit for my needs. I understand some people are upset with the design but vote with your wallets if you don't like it don't buy it.

The color no doubt is a winner. The design of the car, not so much.

The title says it's G80 M3, but isn't it G82 M4? The rear lights are obviously not M3.

Would rather take the .34 and the F80 Front end...

All this is very interesting.

We all know that song you hear over and over again. At first you hated it, but the more you hear it everywhere, you start to think it's ok.
You may never love it, but it becomes acceptable. This is what they are betting on.

For the ones that love it from the get go, they'll always like it.

Then you have a certain amount of people that don't really like it at first but as they see it more and more everywhere, maybe they got used to it, maybe they saw it in a different light, maybe cause it's new and shiny, they start to change their mind and it's acceptable now and maybe will now buy one.

Then you have the ones that will never like it, and stand strong not influenced by ads and repetition. Because they either have a strong preference or belief.

This happens with every product out there, it just happens that the ratio of the 2nd and 3rd type of people are the majority for this car.
The success of G8x is heavily dependent on how many 2nd type people they can get.

I'll give it a compliment, it looks better than G22.

That said, nope, still ugly comparing to prior gens.

I love this color. If it had been an option on my M2C would have been all over it.

But I think bmw is just making increasingly weird looking cars. The GT models, the gran coupe, and now this. Ugh
