Haha! And so was the Bangle Butt and the 5 series Dame Edna headlights, but they sold and so will these M cars.

The grille's get all the attention, but one more thing that has bothered me in virtually every picture/video is the staggered wheel diameters. This practice started on the X5M and has made its way to the G80/82. The front wheels, tire sidewall, and wheel gap just doesn't look good by comparison with the rear wheel setups.

I notice it 90% less in the videos, but yeah, it's my least favorite thing about the car the wheel size differences. Might buy a second set and just match them up, use the smaller ones as winter tyre alternatives?

Love everything except the grille. I'll be hanging on to my F80 for a couple more years.

Other items not withstanding - do you need a car with 500 hp and a stick? You'd never go anywhere, just burn up tires. People complain about the F80s power and traction - what do you think this would be like?

It started with the M4 GTS (I believe). It continues with my M3 CS. I have never thought it looked anything but aggressive and unique in person.

Thats what i meant..if you select carbon fiber pack, instead of the mesh on the lower bumper, you get an air duct piece in carbon fiber, which exposes the side of the lower part of the grills. Making that piece body color can give this 3D perspective in the front, which i think gives such a difference from the sketch to the real car.

This is clearly an ugly car. Why do I get the feeling the positive posts are contrived. Very robotic.

I cant argue this at all, the yellow is the winner. The car is bold so the color should be too. Green is honorable choice too

I don't care about the extra power.

The comp gets better oil cooler; not sure what else.
Don't care about the hp and tqe

I'm sure the cooling for the 6 speed is a in-line with its heat

What other engine improvement does the comp get?

This time the base M3/M4 and Comp are exactly the same. The only difference is the comp gets blacked out badges, and different engine software, that’s it. As for the transmission cooler, the only reason it’s on the Comp is because there is no need for it on a 6 speed manual.

Obviously BMW doesn't care about us. Us as consumers and BMW enthusiasts who owned different generations of M cars. AFAIK, this forum should be enough to get data and feedback prior to the launch. Tweak it based on consumers suggestions. Nah didn't happen.

Yeah it's nice inside, more HP/torque, attractive seats and state of the art electronics.

*Nudge my M4, buddy, I guess you and I will be together for few more years until this style is replace.

Black or Nardo Grey 🤘🏻!

Yeah I'm not down with the skittle colors 🌈 or the whole trendy video game exterior look.

The interior is pretty cool, definitely some nicer upgrades.

Couldn't they take the photos from even lower on the ground /S

I never understand these photos taken by an ant. Nobody will ever see their car from that perspective.
