G82 M4 in Chalk?
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Anyone able to link pictures or videos of a G82 in Chalk? I have seen photos and video floating around of the Chalk M3 (see below), but would like to see it on the M4. |

Ive had two chalk 911's before Porsche let every macan on the road be chalk. If I were you, I would go dravit 100%. Chalk was cool, but now that every macan you see is in that color. I dont find it special anymore. Dravit on the other hand suits the G8X very well.
Just my 2cents. Good luck!

Thanks for the responses, guys. I agree that Dravit is beautiful, which is why I'm so torn. I think I'm leaning slightly in the direction of a lighter color like Chalk because the contrast with the black gloss and carbon fiber is so striking, and really dials up the sporty energy of the car. Dravit looks very classy, but I think we'd all agree that it is more subdued.
I also think the lighter color looks absolutely insane with a Fiona red interior, which is what I would spec (regardless of whether I go Dravit or Chalk). Check out the album I link at the end, which has some pictures of an M3 in Chalk with Fiona red. That combo is a 10 out of 10 for me. Let me know what you guys think. mlover789 I actually disagree that BG looks similar to Chalk, at least to my eye. BG is quite dark, with a noticeable blue tone. I think of it like a shark skin or dolphin color, and it reminds me too much of primer. Chalk to me is much warmer and closer to white. As to cost, I think an additional $2500 to get a color you really love is immaterial in the grand scheme when you are purchasing a car that is spec'd to 100k+. All this said, would still be super appreciative if anyone has video or images of a G82 M4 in Chalk. I'm gathering they are quite rare, which might be another reason to go this route... https://www.flickr.com/gp/9912932@N05/6Xo048 |

Interesting to see it available in Chalk. That's one I haven't seen yet. Fashion Gray is also an option. There is a thread on here with an FG car with Fiona. Dravit Gray cost $1,950 vs $4,500 for Chalk.

Not similar. Here's a pic of Brooklyn next to Lime Rock Grey. Chalk is lighter than Brooklyn without the blue hue and it is also not metallic as these two colors are.

Yeah that X7 up above has got to be Fashion Gray, the color looks really close to the one posted by @autocouture a few weeks ago.
I'm really close to selecting Lime Rock Gray for my build, I've watched that Mountain View BMW video too many times already. |

The X7 is Lime Rock Grey (both cars not in the sun). How do I know? I specced all these for BMW of Mountain View

Before long, Brooklyn will be to BMWs what Chalk is to Porsches -- everywhere. Half the 2022 X3s customers have ordered through my local dealer have been BG.
Go Chalk, OP. You know it's what you want, you're willing to swallow the upcharge, and no one will mistake your M4 for a Macan. I love Dravit myself, but it's pretty dark and flat under cloudy skies (less an issue where you are than where I am). Light grey is great for hiding everyday dust. If I had to pick an Individual gray, I'd go with Stratus (as seen on E38, E52, E53, E63, and E85 BMWs in the 2000s). There's a beige 'flip' to it like Dravit, but it's a medium grey (similar to Oxide). Search for Z8s in that color (very rare) for the best appreciation of its range of color. |

What color did you
End up choosing? In the beginning I was going to go with the yellow, but then went back and forth and choose dravit gray, but if you wanted to go With a white color and pay no extra charge on the color, you Can always have it wrapped to whatever color you want and that also will protect your car and you will be able to change the colors of your car to your Liking 👍🏻 |

BG and Chalk look nothing alike in real life,
BG is much darker a grey tone where as chalk is almost white , when parked side by side the difference is very noticeable
