Wheel spacer question and mystery

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
With so many threads and and different opinions. I'm confused.

My simple question, what works without any rub? I don't want to shave or trim linings, just looking for a minor improvement without lowering. I have a g83 with ps4s.

1) 15 front, 12 rear
2) 12 front, 15 rear
3) 12 all around
4) 10 all around
5) some other setup

It's very simple: If you have michelins 15f / 15r has zero rubbing.

You are probably in the wrong section for this but there are so many threads--- here is one in the wheel tire section.

Thanks, I read thru that thread but couldn't really get a clear answer. Anyways I have ordered BMS and planning to try 12 front 15 rear in hopes it doesn't rub and looks good. Although it hey had a huge disclaimer that the kit is not for g83 to make my anxiety issues worst lol. I still placed an order.

Any thoughts on Matt schell on IND? Is that a good alternative for FC or BMS? Because now I'm getting messages BmS and fc are running on back log so am thinking of cancelling my order…

If a spacer is built correctly and further, installed right- it really doesnt matter what brand you have. Its not like a tune mod in nature.

EG:

I have H&R spacers on my M8, R8, G80 X, C63S and my prior G80 RWD... plus Ive used them countless times prior. Ive also used SupremePower private label spacers as well (they are in Fullerton) with zero issues. In the Benz world there is a well known spacer option at Supreme called the Vic Special as I was the first to get spacers made correctly for the modified Benz hubs on my C63S (2017). To me, as long materials are 6061 or better you are fine. Another really good custom shop for spacers is Motorsport Tech in Nevada. They have made several sets for me (Ferrari, Tesla Plaid). Ive probably done over 30 spacer sets dating back 10 plus years. As long as they are hubcentric then you are good.

The measures you chose for the G83 will not be an issue ... one thing I dont know is whats the proper lowering setup as the G83 is heavier in the rear and you do not want a saggy back side

Thanks for the feedback, I'm guessing if InD is selling it and Matt schnell sounds pretty professional so it's hub centric lol. In all seriousness I will check. Btw your car looks amazing. And g83 lowering is an issue, there is another owner on this forum who is having to reset.

Macht Schnell spacers are hubcentric, we've been using them for +10 years.
