It was still hilarious to watch his banter.

That's what I wanted, most of all. I also wanted to see him almost wreck it. But, that wouldn't have likely been filmed, even if we have a video. He needs to start vlogging.

This is true. There were so many cars he just hated. But one of my favs, was his 458 review. He loved that car.

I'm going to have to check it out. That sounds like a blast.

That's quite an endorsement considering how Jeremy used to be very critical of some BMWs in the past (probably just because he was not able to drive them).
Over time I've become convinced that there are two categories of people who don't like the M4 (beyond aesthetics):
1) those who can't afford it
2) those who have never driven one
And they are usually keyboard warriors who drive a Fiat.

I loved his C6 ZR1 review. "Well done, fat man from Kentucky!!!"

Looks just as good now that the roof is cloth again.

If I lived in a climate that was conducive to verts, I'd have one.
Seriously. A coupe with a carbon roof feels like a dark cave. The highly doubt the touted performance benefits are even noticeable 99% of the time. Convertibles > coupes.

This is proof of how underrated the new G80/82 is. It's really ugly but other than that it's is almost perfect. I think at this point only people who haven't driven it hate on it.

I think I would’ve been tempted to do same if they were the equally priced. Sacrifice a little rigidity for more fun with the kids. Easier to choose that here in California I’m sure.

Do we know for a fact he had the CF seats in his review example? The sport seats are pretty damn good too IMO and I'm having a bit of trouble imagining he didn't have anything to say about maneuvering his bulk over the lip of the CF seats....

What a great writer he is. Such a way with words and a fabulous sense of humour.

The G82 really is so good. It's so incredibly capable that it did make me question what driving is all about. If anything, it's probably too good. But that statement makes no sense. Or does it?

I also like how it looks.

Its an excellent show. Its got the magic of Top Gear in its earlier days and its so much the better for its fresh characters too.

Cant wait for Season 2!

There was an article last year in the Sunday times and he said it was an excellent car then as well. This is why I ignored Chris Harris and his review and why I refuse to watch the new top gear.

Yeah, he reviewed the M3 Comp RWD, last summer.

"I genuinely am struggling to think of something I didn’t like on this car. Maybe the styling’s a bit off. It’s like the designer got embarrassed about the showiness of the front and became a bit timid when doing the back. But this is only a small thing and you don’t even notice it if you go for the convertible."
-Clarkson

There was partially the reason I optioned the M Performance Carbon Flow-Through Spoiler. I don't think there is anything particularly wrong with the back, I just wanted to match the front with something equally ostentatious:

I don't know for certain, but (a) the photos in the story were of the CF seats, though admittedly they could be stock and not the car he drove, but more so (b) the sport seats are indeed very good, but I believe they're similar enough to other BMW sport seats that he's likely sat in them before and wouldn't feel compelled to express how supportive they were. But I could be wrong.

The G8X is such a well-sorted platform. It's really been an absolute blast to drive it everyday and I'm happy to see that one of my all-time car reviewers had generally positive things to say about the the last hurrah for (probably) the last ICE-powered M3

The more I see mine in my garage, the more I realize it's just a car you have to see in person. Once you see it in the flesh, everything about the design makes sense. I open my garage to take a look every time I walk by now and my old bmws look ancient in comparison.
