I hope they did video, somewhere, somehow. I'm not sure he's affiliated with anything that shoots video, anymore, but I miss his antics.

As an early G80 hater and later convert, I totally agree. The car isn't perfect, but it's just such a great car.

Even Chris Harris said that down the line we might be looking at the G80 again and admit it's beautiful. I've owned two F80's and the G80 is just as good of an evolution of the M3/4 as any other generation before it.

I picked mine up and slowly drove it home a week ago. It's still winter in NJ. It's safely in my garage. It has been strip washed and polished. Hopefully it gets the finishing touches and then ceramic coat this weekend. I'm looking forward to enjoying it

I know it's not the purists choice, but let's ask, why not?

More enjoyable on nice days.
Just as fast on the road, which is where 99% of M cars are driven.
More enjoyable engine sounds.
Looks just as good now that the roof is cloth again.

If I lived in a climate that was conducive to verts, I'd have one.

Another feature I found was a tool that gives you marks for the quality and duration of your "drifts". We live in a YouTube era now and this is the sort of thing that matters: watching kids hit trees. It's the future.

Having owned a X3M with the S58 motor and spend some time in a G80 at Thermal for one of BMW's GT4 experiences, The G8x is crazy good. There are things I dislike about it, but no doubt the performance is wicked good.

Watch Clarkson's farm on Amazon Prime, I believe it got renewed for a 2nd season. I didn't think I'd like it but I got hooked and watched the whole thing in 2 days.
