On the same note, maybe I should buy a new shirt every time I wear one instead of washing it and re-wearing it. Or buy new dishes every time I eat off one because I’m not capable of knowing how to wash properly. 😂

Maybe. Maybe not. But eventually you WILL need a new shirt. And they're widely available. Maybe a better analogy would be rechargeable batteries. You can keep recharging them, but eventually you'll need to replace them. And they're generally quite easy to buy. I really do not at all see why people have a problem with me wanting to buy a new goddamn set of air filters.

Yea I agree eventually you’ll need to replace but the idea is to not have to for a long period of time and save the consumer a little money by reusing. Better for environment also. Anyways what’s wrong with your intake? I have one and haven’t had any issues for a year now. Plus I like the whoosh sounds!

There's nothing at all wrong with my intake. I think it's great. I was just planning ahead to put a new set of filters on at the one year mark since the date I had it installed. Apparently this is an unheard of and absurd idea. Fuck me for asking.

Where does the dirty oil go when you wash the filters before reusing them?

By the time you need to wash your filter the oil is pretty much dried up. You just need to clean and rinse the filter, let dry and then apply new oil. I recommend k&n recharge kit. You can get it on amazon for $20
