Still trying to nail down the final build here..

Currently have Tartufo interior along with 826m black wheels and black calipers.

I think I’m going to switch out the Tartufo. It’s an elegant color but a little too sophisticated/ old man style for me (no offense to anyone here at all). I’m trying to go for something a little sportier / younger and debating between Silverstone or black. Red or blue definitely wouldn’t work.

I originally had KO and might just go that route again for the ultimate head turner.. but it’s almost a little too loud for me. Black might be a little plain but it would go nicely with the shadowline trim and blacked out wheels? I’m actually also debating between 826m black or bi-color wheels with the black calipers. Think the bi-colors might show them a little better but the blacked out would look more aggressive with the shadowline trim / shadowline headlights. I did red calipers originally but it’s a little Christmassy so thinking against it this time.

KO is the young man's version of Tartufo.
Black is a little plain. You just have to ask yourself if the loud exterior color is enough character.

That was in fact the question I asked. I'm coming from a 2018 M3 Mexico Blue with White Opal interior, very nice and eye catching. Picking up a 2022 M4C IOMG with black interior. I considered silverstone but didn't like the black inserts. So, black it is.

I went with IOMG and SS interior. Black wheels and blue calipers. Car is scheduled to arrive in 2 weeks so , unfortunately, I can't yet show you how it looks in real life.

I like SS on IOMG, but I have little kids and was thinking the SS would show a touch more dirt than the orange.

This color just keeps getting better. Makes me look at my Frozen White G80 and say “why do you look so boring”…

I’ve settled on KO w/ 826m black wheels and red calipers. Only thing different from my last build is black wheels instead of bi-color 826m. Those were great but the more I see pictures of the blacks the more I like those, and with the Arizona sunshine should look pretty nice. This build makes it easy to get a different paint / wrap job too since the wheels and interior would match up nicely if I want to black it out down the road (if I decide to keep it).

The only thing I still can’t decide on is if I should keep the shadowline lights or not. There seems to be some of misinformation out there. I like the more aggressive look but I’m hearing it might dim the DLRs (or lights in general) - is that true at all?

No it only affects the top of the light where they dim the top of the light.

You mean like that horizontal strip? In that case I don’t really care about that as long as the actual angel eyes themselves are just as bright

I’d have loved to see a side by side but it’s probably subtle as it is anyways.

This thread has the best comparison but i still dont think they make the whole lense darker. It just looks that way as a result of the top.

Still not convinced it’s not tinted. In some videos angel lights look dimmer.
Need a good side by side up close in daytime. Configurator pics are crap.

Anyone here got the 826m black wheels (with red calipers or any calipers) and regret it? Seeing a thread about the bicolor vs black and some mention with the black it’s hard to see and they don’t “pop” as much unless In the right angle. Being that I’m in Arizona I’m not as concerned since there’s abundant sunshine but still felt like asking. I got them over the bicolor I had because I figured they would be more aggressive looking.

I was at MPact over the weekend and saw a couple of new M3s in IMOG among a few other colors. IMOG is absolutely stunning and KO looks good with it. Thumbs up to everyone who chose this color. If the stars align, maybe my next car...

My previous 2021 M3 Comp for reference which got the most likes ever on the Tint workshop's FB page.

This was 15% all around and 50% on the windshield which i'll do again on the new one. Will be the same build but with 826m black instead of bi-colors this time

Hey Guys, looking forward to posting pics of my IOMG, hopefully next month!

Question, dose anyone on here have pictures of the non-laser lights? I know I know, peasant lights as someone put it. I ordered without in hopes of not having any production delays due to chip shortage. That... didnt work as I am on hold for a camera..

Anyway, curious how the non-laser lights look in person.

thanks!

IOMG and TARTUFO

I'll try get some picks up for you soon but I went with all the options you swapped out on my IOMG M3😂 Tartufo, bi-colour and red calipers. Personally I'm in love with it, especially the interior. Dealer congratulated me on having the 'balls' to spec Tartufo as many inquire about it but very few pull the trigger. It's fantastic and is the perfect juxtaposition for the bright exterior paint. Not in a million years is this an old man color, it's classy, elegant, stylish and individual, not your classic beige/brown leather of old! If anyone is considering it….do it! You will not regret it I promise.
