Opportunity Knocked

I didn't think I'd be back in the drivers seat of a G80 M3 this quick but when opportunity knocks you open the door.

When my man Nate from IG Burton called and let me know this car is fresh off the truck and available I jumped in my M5 and headed straight there. I wasn't sure if I would like it because it's so far removed from what I would typically order but it is GORGEOUS!!

Hats off to whoever spec'd this car and thank you for not buying it

I had a tough decision to make because I wanted the car and knew I would have to sell something. Unfortunately it was my 21 Redeye Charger that had to go.

The 2023 G80 M3 is improved over my 2021 M3 Comp in a couple areas that I noticed right away.

- Idrive 8 is very cool and makes the cockpit modern.

- The sound of the exhaust on acceleration and shifts are phenomenal. I don't recall my previous G80 M3 Comp sounding this aggressive.

Ooooohhh that Red Eye is something. I hope you don’t miss it because it’s going to be a collector for sure but congrats on the M!

The Redeye is something else and kinda regret selling it. I may end up buying it back 🤣

I’m intrigued by the comment about it sounding more aggressive than your previous G80.

I wasn't expecting anything different but from the 1st drive the car seems louder and angrier. The upshifts sound great even at a low rpm.
