G80/82 oil cooler guard?

Just noticed today that the bottom of the G82 M4 lower oil cooler had no guard over it anywhere. Is this how it's done now..

I remember seeing lots of discussion on the M5 forums regarding similar vulnerability of the oil cooler including some disastrous results from hitting road debris
