Thoughts/opinions on Chalk with Silverstone

So I plan on going with individual chalk paint on my LCI G80 and conflicted with interior.

My favorite interior is silverstone...however it could look odd with chalk exterior. Brooklyn with silverstone works, but that's a completely different shade.

Not interested in black.

Is red the only good option? I think the fiona would look better than Kyalami (and have colored door cards).

Could chalk with silverstone work?

Right now leaning FR over silverstone over the slimmest margin…colored door cards.

I think it’ll look great

I did alpine on silverstone on my f80 comp, and it was a stunning combo

Light on light does work

IMO Black and Silverstone go with every color, just as black on black goes, white on white also goes.

Having a somewhat neutral white/black exterior just screams for a Fiona or Kyalami interior though, but that's just me

If you think Brooklyn with Silverstone works then Chalk with Silverstone is absolutely fine.

Personally, I prefer more contrast between exterior and interior colors.

Normally I’m with you on the contrast, but silverstone is gorgeous!

I don't think it works that well. I think Fiona, Fjord, or Tartufo would look great.

Silverstone does if you go for the full leather option. Just collected mine 2 weeks ago.

Not sure about the rest of the world but here in the UK we have 2 Silverstone options.

Option 1 is just the seats, rest of interior is black and is about £300

Option 2 is full Leather, with door cards and bottom half of interior in the lighter colour, with leather dash etc. £2200 I think.

That was on the pre LCI model, which i got one of the last of, not sure of the new prices.

Full Leather is an option for all builds, it's not individual in the way Chalk is an individual paint, why wouldn't it be an option?

He's saying it isn't an option for him...meaning it's getting pricey going for full leather and an individual color.

Half the price of individual to get the color you want colored on every panel for a $100k car you're going to keep for a while (presumably)...an extra $10-20/mo for payment...seems like a no brainer to me.

But that's just me I guess.

I have chalk with silverstone. I was concerned but it came out better than could have hope. I get tons of compliments daily and its more contrast then you realized in person. Chalk is hard to photo because can look white in photos but in person nice blend. Also everyone seems to do red with chalk. When I ordered mines, didnt see really anyone with silverstone, plus I loved the seats in that color. Considered changing to Tartufo but happy I didnt.

I'm doing Silverstone with Skyscraper Grey on my LCI M4 order. I ordered extended leather but seeing the pics of full leather is making me want those door cards silverstone too. I'm status 112 so still time to decide. ugh.

Full merino is roughly $45 a month for 60 months. If it were $10-$20, yes it'd be a no brainer.

Underestimated a bit I guess, but to get the exact car I want in the spec I want, $45/mo on a $1500+ car payment is not a deal breaker.

Have you considered Fjord? Would be unique for sure. Fiona is probably the right choice over anything else but… I’m partial to fjord

I think most of the interior colors would work with Chalk.

Fiona would be top for me. Fjord Blue would also be really good, IMO. My Frozen Pure Grey II isn't as light as Chalk, so you would have even more contrast.

I would just sit in the BMWUSA configurator and flip back and forth between colors until I develop a preference. Take screenshot and flip between two colors, then do your next two colors, etc.
