Just pulled the trigger on my first M car!

Wanted to say hello and that I'm looking forward to joining this awesome forum community.

Yesterday I purchased a 2021 M4 MT out of California and now waiting for it to ship.

It's black on black with 300 miles. Owned by BMW Corporate and barely driven (obviously). I plan to change that.

Super stoked to drive my new car! Good to be here.

Did the warranty and maintenance start when you purchased it or was it considered “used”? Typically if a dealer drives it, even if for 3 years it never gets titled and you would be the first owner.

Thanks, I couldn't figure out how to rotate them once they were posted here. But i uploaded from a laptop and they had the correct orientation when I uploaded...

It was owned by BMW Corporate so as far as I know they are considered an owner. I'm being told by the dealer that I have only one more year on the factory warranty.

Dealership is offering me an extra 5 years, 60k mile warranty for a little over $5k. Seems like a decent price but I don't have anything to compare it to.

Reach out to Steve Thomas BMW's GOLFFRR for a quote on a warranty extension. Their price was FAR lower than my local dealer for the exact same warranty when I got an extension for my 340i. Once I get close to the end of my m3's factory warranty they'll be the first I contact.

Pretty darn close to fully loaded! Looks like the only thing missing is full leather. Looks like ext leather which is not a big deal.

Really nice spec. Just be ready as you are basically married to a black car in order to keep it clean. I’ve always preferred black cars but I’m so anal I would wash it 2-3 times per week.

Yeah, it was about a $99k build.

I really did want full leather but oh well. Extended might work ok with a black interior. Haven't seen it in person yet!

And I wanted adaptive cruise control which I used quite a bit in an X5. May not miss it in the M4.

Yeah, I'm feeling a little pressure of the black paint already and haven't even taken delivery of it yet haha!

I wonder if anything would help that, like PPF or ceramic coating...

I think it was pretty rare. And this carried no disclosures which means it wasn't used for training or any driving program. It was literally just used used for a couple higher ups at BMW Corp.

But I can give you the sales guy's name over there if you want it. They do stock a lot of cars.

Can’t get adaptive cruise in a manual unfortunately.
