I wasn't able to make it, my son's birthday party ended up being longer than expected. Car is amazing, based on youtube videos and people's reviews I was expecting it to be a lot worse. I am pretty much wow-ed by everything, but then again I am coming from a 2016 fully loaded Mustang GT...

Naperville here. Down for a meet/cruise before the weather turns. I ordered winter tires from Germany but for whatever reason 3 got delivered and the 4th one is stuck in customs

My car is Brooklyn Gray but I love Skyscraper too. The wheels are BCForged HCA381. I specced the wheels so that they are the equivalent of 12mm spacers all around on the 826m wheels. Lowered on HR Springs.

I also swapped the grill. That last photo was before.

Going with a buddy of mine. Leaving on Friday morning the 4th. checking in in the hotel in TN that evening and then joining the other cars on saturday morning in NC for the drives.

I know it's a long shot but if anyone wants to join, feel free. The more the merrier I always say. The plan is to leave in the morning on the 4th. and come back in the evening on sunday the 6th.

Very cool. Tail of the dragon is a blast.
Just be mindful of the countless bikers that overcook the corners and drift into your lane.
I lost count of the near misses last time I was there. The blind corners, which there are many are the worst.
Several encounters required dramatic evasive action on my part to avoid a tragedy.

Indeed, this will be my fifth time going there if I remember correctly. One of my favorite places to go not just for driving, but for all the hiking opportunities as well. I love the terrain there and the people in NC are generally very chill I found. Everyone is there to have a good time.

Winter is officially here. Time to switch off to my workhorse mazda cx-50. I may take the G82 for a spin here and there throughout the winter months to reduce the chance of tires flat spotting, but for the most part, plan to keep it garaged until April unless we encounter some crazy weather phenomenon where it will get uncharacteristically warm.

Who here is planning on driving their G80s through the winter season?

Don't have my G80 yet, but it'll be a year round car for me (with winter wheels and tires of course!)
