PPF isn't some miracle shield - it can also get damaged and self healing properties will eventually wear out as well. The point of PPF is to be a sacrificial layer and not to make your car look perfect all the time. If you're that worried about the paint looking 100% then the only solution is to not drive or let go of your OCD tendencies.

I took a walk around porsche dealer near me, and amount of pre owned cars with paint damage where the rock went through ppf, clear coat and paint was crazy. Curtesy of freeway construction work around area.
