Does the M3 have available rear heated seats? I was just curious because I know the standard 3 Series does.

It does in certain markets, eg Germany and Canada. But UK and USA don't have this option sadly.

Yea I noticed the EU has it. Nothing is labeled for it in the USA.
Ha my kids enjoy it. Its really the only people that end up sitting in the back seats lol.

I believe the U.S. rear seats also don't get the center armrest either... I actually prefer that as my kids keep messing with it

That's strange. There are US states that have winters as bad or worse than some in Canada. Turns out borders don't constrain climate.

Still can't believe BMW won't include rear center arm rests in the rear of such an all purpose, daily driver vehicle in all markets? Do certain markets really not want rear armrests? pitiful

BMW must be the only company that does these weird things. I had an Audi Etron and everything was the same -minus the anti dazzle lights. but Audi doesnt seem to do what BMW does.

the missing heated rear seat option is a strange one...
but the real headscratcher is the armrest, i know the M340 and I believe the 330 both come with the "better" rear armrest with the cupholders |

I haven't seen a rear armrest on any European M3. Unless, you guys don't get the 40/20/40 rear seats. Still, there are no cup-holders if you fold the middle seat.

It makes no sense these cars cost so much I mean for 80k it should everything the 3 series offers. But who knows watch them add everything to the face lifted cars like the always do. It's marketing BS

They're probably trying to save weight. G80 weights significantly more than 330i.

armrest deletion weight savings in a 4-door daily driver???? come on, man!!!! I sort of understand the armrest deletion in the M4, though I still think it should have it...but in the M3???

Honestly, I think they haven't gone far enough in shedding weight. I sit in the driver seat and rarely have anyone in the backseat. Could careless if it has an arm rest or not. The one time i took my F80 on a 1-2 hour road trip, my backseat passengers bitched and moaned about the rough ride the whole time; I don't think they cared about the arm rest. I do love certain luxuries and features, but some of the arm are just worthless junk. |

But for the "standard models", already filled with quite a few luxury items (like an electronic liftgate), they should add in the normal creature comforts that backseat passengers will want. Hec, they gave the G82 rear passengers control of their climate "to make them more comfortable", but BMW didn't want to give them an armrest??? It's just silly to me. Delete a bunch of stuff on the track edition model, but not on the G8Xs that many will plan to drive regularly, with rear seat passengers. |

IMHO, the M3/M4 should be a driver focused sport car with a touch of luxury. Nice sound system, decent camera, sensors, and driver aids. No junk. I hate the fact that the M3 has become the new M5. |
